Lens In A Lens
Our cornucopia of Foster Grant® 2X magnifiers all have small, circular 5X lenses imbedded in the larger glass, because sometimes we all need help from a higher power. The lighted magnifier has a 3-3/16" dia acrylic lens with a 3/4" dia window and an incandescent bulb. Measures 8-3/4" long OA and you insert (4) "AA" batteries in the handle. The round magnifier has a 3-1/2" dia lens with a 13/16" dia helper, and measures 7-1/2" long OA. The square magnifier isn't; it's a 3-1/2" x 2" rectangle (so sue us) with a 3/4" dia higher-power lens inset and a light. Measures approx 9" long when opened, but the 4" handle handily folds away for storage. You add a pair of "AAA" batteries.

Magnify the whole page and see all that nasty fine print at one time. Our hard acrylic fresnel sheet is 8-3/8" x 11" x 1/16" thick with a focal length of approx 10". Magnifies to about 3X. Solar experiments, too!

Big Multi-Use Lens
This aspheric glass lens is 62mm (2.44") dia with a focal length of 42mm. Apart from your standard lens-ish optics applications, we think it also lens itself to use as an entertaining desktop spin toy, and we figure it would make a dandy bulls-eye in a leaded glass window.
